When you take part in a family activity at your community center, it brings a sense of accomplishment and joy. That’s important because family time brings a stronger sense of connection within the family.
Such as excellent resources for providing families with easy access to events, educational programs, computer skills, life skill courses, and general information about the community. The Shepherd’s House can offer guidance to help facilitate college selections & College major, brochures, and online newsletters to keep families in the know.
Such as a Learning Day Brunch, my family has connected with other families and developed rich friendships as a result. When you take your family to a place where other families are there for the same activity, there’s no need for an icebreaker. We can meet & help so many great families this way.
During the long winter months, some of my family sometime experience SAD (seasonal affective disorder) to some degree, but we did find that checking in with the happenings at a community center and forcing ourselves to get out and take part, even if it was only once a month, really helped us feel better. We will offer lots of great indoor programs and activities and we all know that exercise is good for the whole family! We want to help put back - what COVID took from our Kids and Families!!!

A community center provides youth with a safe Community Center, classroom space, keeping them occupied and promoting strong relationships through the Leading of Strong Educational Leadership. This is also beneficial for parents who work and need a safe spot for their children to go after school. Because Children are struggling with virtual learning. We believe it will take a community effort to get our children & community back to an eventful learning environment. We need more learning space for our children to get a proper education!!!
I can’t express how valuable it has been for my family to get involved with our local Elder Citizens, Veterans, Poverty Children and working with students in the community that need extra help with Educational Activities, study help with Math, Science, and culture activities, Career development, etc. The Shepherd’s House will work hard to ensure that we have a diverse range of programs, activities, and events.
A student from a low-income family has a 38% likelihood of attending college or university whereas a student from a higher-income family has a 63% chance of attending post-secondary education. On Track to Success is a direct intervention to change the odds for students in need.
IT’S ALL ABOUT CARING FOR OUR COMMUNITY.
We love our community, so feel free to get ahold of us during normal business hours.
